During the process of writing captions for the main mikophoto galleries, it became uncomfortably obvious that there simply wasn’t space to do justice to many of those people and places portrayed therein. This blog is an attempt to expand on those abbreviated descriptions in less restricted prose.

Occasionally I’ll write about other photography related topics but such tangents will be kept to a minimum. While I am by no means a master of the medium, I trust a decade and a half of recording images professionally does give me some meager license to sporadically, if briefly, pontificate.

Discussion is encouraged. Debate is welcome. Dogmatism and downright nastiness is not.
